Thursday night I had the pleasure of teaching a workshop at a local camera club. It had been a rough and really long day and I wasn't excited about the prospects of packing a lot of gear and driving 45 minutes to participate in this event but I had made a promise and a promise made is a promise kept. I was in a bad mood because I kept taking the wrong turn and my head just wasn't in the game so to speak. I was supposed to find a church on Harvard road but I ended up filling up a month of Sunday's as I stopped at 5 different churches before I found the event. At one church where a cub scout meeting had already started I saw a table full of inspirational prayer quotes for the winter months and decided to grab it as I was hurrying out the door to keep searching for the location of the workshop.
After another 10 minutes past I found the right location. I set up the simple two light setup and white seamless and was introduced to Nicole who would be our model for the evening. As the workshop began all my stresses just melted away and I became completely energized and excited to shoot and teach. These are just a few of the images I made that night. THANK YOU Nicole!
